Meet the Founder
JonPaul (JP) Plesniak
Founder & Principal
Born in 1999 and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, JP has always had a passion for building and creating value. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, along with a Certificate in Innovation & Product Development and minors in Bioengineering and Chemistry.
After graduating in 2022, JP began his career as a Product Manager at Dick's Sporting Goods, where he leads technology initiatives and manages complex projects with multi-million dollar impacts. His analytical mindset, coupled with hands-on engineering experience, gives him a unique perspective on business operations, systems optimization, and value creation.
JP founded Plesniak Group with a vision to apply his product development expertise and financial acumen to acquiring and growing established businesses. As a passionate investor who studies company financials in his free time, he brings a data-driven, customer-focused approach to every opportunity.
When he's not analyzing businesses or working on product development, you'll find JP exploring new technologies, 3D printing, or diving deep into the fundamentals of promising companies. His engineering background taught him to solve problems systematically; his product management experience taught him to listen to customers; and his Pittsburgh roots taught him the value of hard work and integrity.
